Geetech LCD..Reversed Z Axis

Really need help here.
Installed Geetech LCD. Followed exact instruction on Wiki.
LCD works, printer seems ok, however Z Axis is reversed. It goes down to home, when it should go up, as its a top mount end switch.
I really have no idea what needs to be done, this should have been an easy to do task.

Did you contact MakerGear support? (Shoot them an email describing the problem.)
Think I recall reading somewhere that they were experimenting with reversing the Z. Maybe there's a setting you can change.

Yes I did shoot them an e-mail waiting to hear back. Just super frustrated, can't do anything the way it is, and don't have the "stock" firmware to revert to.

The stock firmware is found at the same place as the Geetech firmware:
http://makergear.wikidot.com/m2-firmware. You will want M2Marlin24r2.zip.
You can also go into Configuration.h of your firmware with a text editor and find the line that says
(presumably). Change that to -1 for the old top homing behavior.

Thanks for the reply.
I spoke with MG support who indicated I needed a certain firmware, that is not listed on their site. They sent it to me, and while the axis was correct(ed), the print quality ability was terrible.
I have since removed the LCD and reverted to the stock firmware, and all printing is back to how it was.
I would really like to use and LCD, but the problems it has created are not worth it, since it does not seem enough testing was done.
This is a newer model printed with the all black z axis motor.
