How to pause print to clean it up mid-print with S3D?

Ideally, I just want to pause the printer so I can snip out some discolored slightly burnt boogers that have formed so they don't get embedded in the finished product and make it look ugly. How is it possible with S3D?

I know I need to...

1) Stop it
2) lower it
3) snip it
4) Continue execution (Which entails making it go up to its previous height value and continuing from where it left off).

Open the Jog Controls.
Pause.
Immediately hit +100 on the Z movement column.
Snip (quickly so it doesn't cool off too much, and the motors don't disengage.)
Hit -100 on the Z movement column.
Hit Resume to start printing again.

Nice! I thought it was possible with S3D but I thought there was a special button I was missing for just this kind of thing, lol. Thanks.
