Hi guys ,
I succeed to break the plate , I wonder if I can replace it with simple glass plate I order from glazier or it is in any way special . Is it better to stick with glass or replace it with other material plate like aluminum ???
Regards Doron

You can order replacement glass from Makergear OR
You can get a sheet of borosilicate from another provider as long as its the same size length X width (height doesnt matter as much as you can always adjust Z stop OR
You can go with a piece of MIC6 cast aluminum which a number of other people have gone with.

My personal pref is the MIC6 - as close to perfectly flat as you can get and heats evenly unlike the glass which can have hot spots. The only down side is it takes longer to get to heat and can be hard to get to the very high temps (I regularly run at 80 without issue, which is fine for all the way up to PETG etc)
