So where's the all-metal motor mounts?

I'm wondering, is this an official endeavour by Makergear or is this some independent hobbyist kind of thing? Essentially, If, when and where can I expect to buy one? [Independent hobbyists are iffy commercial sources.]

A user posted a video of his brand new M2. It had an all metal motor mount. MG commented that it will be available soon. I want one as well.

I would absolutely love if I could make my M2 do everything my other printers can. It's quite sad to see that it can't do 80% of my highly detailed work, currently, even though I know it could do it if just had the right parts.

Anyway, reassuring that MG states it will be out soon. That means it's official, hoorah!

No that's not what they are talking about but take it from me stay away from that ebay extruder it's not worth it.

im wondering what you think your going to gain by a metal motor mount? no reason in the world why you cant get highly detailed prints out of your m2. the stock mount is very rigid. if you want it more rigid then print a replacement with 95-100% infill. it will be like a rock.

I had actually thought he was referring to a metal extruder setup, but either way my original motor mount that came with the m2 has cracked so I need a replacement either way, and who doesnt like the look of machined metal components over printed plastic ones?

that was for the op. in any case, sure the metal component are nice and very strong but you arent going to gain print quality with one.

So the issue with the quality of thin columns isn't with the rigidity of the motor mount, but rather the retraction 'leakiness'?

I wonder why the M2's extruder leaks but my replicator's extruder largely doesn't (Doesn't require negative restart, whereas negative restart helps the M2 but it's not a cure-all. Curing the hairiest of hairs in some prints with a high restart value of -.6mm introduces noticeable gaps in the wall, weakening it.)? Does it have something to do with the extruder motor? The filament hot chamber design?
