I have 80mm/s on default printing speed and and like 100 or 200 on the x/y.
I feel like these are too fast.
What do you guys suggest?
Good starting mm/s for ABS ?

Re: Good starting mm/s for ABS ?
Sorry Insta,
I am. I didn't realize that was pertinent. I just figured speed was speed.
I guess really what im after is a good baselilne. Some prints come out fine. Others, get wrecked during the print. Mostly when dealing with threads or small parts. For instance thing:21357 is a pcb vise.
The 2 arms that hold the board have 4 very small parts (about 1mm X 2 or 2.5mm) on the first 10 to 20 layers. Ive done about 6 prints of this and they keep coming loose.
My calibrations of both the square and the thinwall cube are in spec.
I've dropped the speed to 40mm/s with 100% infill in hopes that may help, but im swinging blind.

Nope. that failed too as i was typing my reply to you.
Sometimes i don't feel like i can take my eye off of it.

Re: Good starting mm/s for ABS ?
It's only pertinent because I can give you all my S3D profiles that work on my M2s: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3689&start=10Raddiver wrote:Sorry Insta,

If those profiles don't work, you've got a clog or your tension is incorrect. Fixing both of those are common threads in the Tech Support forum, browse around

Re: Good starting mm/s for ABS ?
I used your .26 profile with the same results.
I did have a clog last week. I cleared it and reset tension at the same time.
I'm not looking at it now, but i think your brim is set to 1 layer 0 offset and 6 outlines. 6 may be a bit much for that piece. i may try reducing it by 2 or 3 and see what happens.
I also noticed that you dont have it writing anything to firmware. Previously i did. Should i do another reset of the settings?
