Prints will not stop from warping

Hello everyone!

I need help. My Makergear M2 will NOT print anything without it coming out warped. I have read up some tips, like heating the bed plate a few degrees more, or the extruder a few degrees more but they all come out warped at the end of the day.

Can anyone tell me what this could be due to and a way to fix it? I really could use your help

some more info is needed here. what type of plastic? are you using an adhesive on the bed? are you cleaning the bed between prints? how?

What shapes are you printing?

All plastic shrinks as it cools, to a greater or lesser extent, which means part geometry makes a big difference in the results. For example, a T-shaped beam printed with the flat top perfectly adhered to the platform will warp instantly when you pry it off: the stem of the T applies an unbalanced force to the flat top.

Back in July, you reported a problem with the M2 stopping in the middle of printing:

How did you resolve that problem? The configuration may have some bearing on what's happening now...

I print on the plain glass bed with no adhesive. The material that I use is PLA. I clean it in between prints with alcohol and water and I'm careful not to leave dust, or fingerprints. The projects have been doing fine until a few weeks ago when they started to warp.

The warping wasn't too bad at first. It could simply be corrected by cleaning the base plate. However, now cleaning doesn't make it stick anymore.

Now I have a bigger problem. I cannot control the printer's movements. Meaning that: the control panel for Simplify 3D will say that the printer is connected and will heat up the heated base plate and the extruder. However, it will not allow me to move the X-, Y-, or Z-Axis, or allow me to extrude or retract the PLA.

Hairspray or gluestick. Just about everyone comes to the realization that bare glass just doesn't work after a few weeks. (Probably microscopic remnants on the glass.)

Step 1: Uni-install and then re-install S3D. (Save all of your FFF profiles by exporting them to your desktop before you do this if you don't want to lose them.)

See if that fixes the problem.

Step 2: Check the wires and make sure one of the connectors hasn't gotten pulled loose. You might need to open the electronics case and check the connections in there as well - if it gets to that point, you'll need to open a Support ticket so the Makergear folks can get you a copy of the RAMBo diagram and walk you through further testing to figure out why the machine is heating but the bed is not moving. (Make sure you are heating the nozzle up before you try to extrude or retract.)

also remember you cant jog the extruder unless your over 170 deg

Step 2: Check the wires and make sure one of the connectors hasn't gotten pulled loose.

Definitely check the connection of the wiring bundle from the power supply going into the M2. I had an extruder clog, and upon successfully getting the extruder to run, the X, Y, & Z jog controls did not. I had moved the printer "slightly" and this caused the power supply bundle to be half inserted.
