Hi,
I have a brand new M2 and I'm trying to get the M2 Quick Start v1.1.8-Beta to work on Fedora 23. I got the ICU libraries installed, and I'm part of the dialout group. The application starts, but I get stuck when it comes time to connect to the printer. The printer is on /dev/ttyACM0, and when I connect the fans come on for a few seconds, but then I get the message "No ports available, or all ports tried - please try a manual connection." When I try to connect manually the printer again spins the fans briefly, then responds with "Connection Failed - Timeout!"
The terminal output looks like this:
0 - portbeingtried
/dev/ttyACM0

It seems like the port is active, but the software isn't getting the response it's looking for. Any suggestions?

Re: M2 not detected on Fedora Linux 23
I had this on my windows laptop, not sure if it would work in Linux though. Have you tried to change the USB connection to another one on your computer.
As soon as I move the cord from one USB to another, it connected to the Quick Start app, without issue.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that didn't work.

Double check that the baud rate is set to 115200.
