Two Filaments Going into One Nozzle

Please see attached image. Something has happened, widened I should say, whenever my filament runs out or snaps due to its dryness for being out too long and when I put the same filament back in or a new filament, both pieces of filament are somehow now able to fit in the same hole going to the nozzle, causing immediate jamming in which I have to then take the nozzle apart to retrieve the bad filament piece. I literally have to do this every single time the filament breaks or I run out of filament. This takes forever as I have to wait for the printer to cool down, take apart the nozzle, retrieve the filament, reassemble the nozzle, then retract the good filament, then clip off the good filament that has been ribbed by the double filament error, then attempt to extrude the second filament piece.

Time to print a new filament drive. That one is split at the tip. (Or you can order a replacement.)
