My wife's brother just loaned us his M2. I've got almost everything setup and working, and I'm trying to get through the getting started process. I get to the pre-heating phase and the build plate heats normally, but the extruder heater won't turn on in the software. The extruder IS actually heating, I can feel the heat radiating from it and the filament that had been caught in the tip melted and retracted normally.
I have verified that the wires are connected on the motherboard for both the heater and the thermistor. The wires appear to be connected firmly at the extruder assembly also. The extruder looks to be a v3B, and I think the M2 is the original version. I could really use some troubleshooting guidance, but my searching hasn't turned up anything yet. If you can make some suggestions I would be appreciative.
