In the Makergear new machine package comes a little brush but not sure what this is used for?

What are some good tools to clean the gunk that builds up on the nozzles?

If its small brush 1/4" wide maybe... it's for cleaning the teeth of the extruder gear. (they sent small brushes to us beta testers when they switched to the smaller teeth gears so I assume that's the brush your referring too now.)

I use a brass bristle brush to clean the outside of the nozzles and a propane or map gas touch to clean nozzle if they clog. (removed from printer first of course.)

Is there a brass bush formed in a cone shape that fits around the nozzle so you can just rotate the brush and all the baked on nozzle junk falls down into the brush cone instead of going all over the bed?

I just heat the nozzle to operating temperature and wipe it with a folded paper towel.

home depot tool section where they have the welding stuff. they have small wire brushes with wooden handles. I have one with stainless bristles but they have brass also. been using the same brush for 3.5 years. I heat the nozzle up and a quick scrub before each print is all that's needed.
