Dear people:
We have a Makergear M2 for a couple of months now, and we think it is a great printer. Since a couple of days ago, however, it began to make a high-pitch noise when full traveling the Z-axis; specifically, when going down to the home position. We have cleaned the lead-screw and applied 3 in 1 oil to the Z-axis rods, but the noise is still there.
We have the newer black Z motors with a plastic nut at the lead, so we have not applied grease at the lead screw as suggested at the M2 lubrication steps (http://makergear.wikidot.com/m2-lubrication).
Do you have any suggestion?
Best Regards,
