VIKI LCD revisit

I have the 1st gen M2 RAMBo 1.0e with two Dell PSU bricks. The RAMBo power connector melted when I tried to setup VIKI LCD back in 2014 with the newly released Marlin for M2 with LCD panel and x8 microstepping http://bit.ly/2oJAX9H, so I replaced RAMBo and put VIKI aside.
Now my M2 is using RAMBo 1.2g, I understand the wiring is the same as older RAMBo. Which Marlin firmware and what version Arduino IDE do I use?
