Anybody know the thread size / pitch of the V4 PTFE retainer
Anybody know the thread size / pitch of the V4 PTFE retainer
There's a hollow grub-screw that holds the PTFE retainer in place on the V4. Does anybody know its size/pitch?

My GUESS would be M4 x 0.7, 'cuz that would have a 2mm hex. The tap drill is 3.3mm which would work well if the tubing size is 1/8" OD.

I may have just figured a way to make some very narrow dual-extruders...

The title says "M4 male thread to 1/5 inch push-in", yet the table suggests a 4 mm plastic push-in thingie with a 5 mm thread on the metal housing.insta wrote:very narrow dual-extruders
The only way to be sure is order a few and be prepared for hilarity. I recently ordered a female 4-pole to male 3-pole 3.5 mm audio adapter (based on the description's picture) and got exactly the other arrangement.

Yeah, there are some dubious details on that listing. 10-32 is a standard pneumatic port size. I'm-a-bettin' their 1/5" thread is actually 10-32 to a 4mm push-in hose.

FYI - it is not a metric screw. 10-32.
