Is there a bed level command to do while the nozzle and bed are hot?
I would think this would be more precise due to material expansion when hot.
thanks!
bed level while hot
Re: bed level while hot
IMO, the best way to do that is by printing five thinwall boxes at the center & corners, measuring their actual height, then tweaking the screws to make the answer come out right. The printer produces the boxes under normal operating conditions without manual intervention, so you measure what happens while printing. After you make the adjustment, print another set of boxes, measure them, and verify what you just did produced the result you expected.psd wrote:more precise due to material expansion when hot

You can get it Pretty Close(tm) with manual adjustments, but getting it dead on requires live-fire measurements.
Works for me, on those rare occasions when adjustments are needed, and takes just a few minutes.
