Part offset from center of bed

Post by majerdave » Sun Dec 03, 2017 10:25 pm

Hi-

I have been using my MakerGear for some time and recently experienced the part being printed to corner of bed (see below) even though in the Simplify3D preview all looked fine.

When it started printing it actually wanted to print even further off the bed and I hear a grinding noise for several seconds before it starts printing in the corner.

I tried re homing and cannot seem to correct the issue.

I feel like it is damaging the belts and don't know what to try next.

Regards,
Dave

The M2 orients itself with 0,0 in the lower-left of the bed (about where your part is). Your plater in S3D shows it centered in the middle of the platform.

S3D has MakerGear M2 profiles -- use those.
