THis just started to happen and it does this on small fast parts. The printer will pause on it's own and then start up again. A couple of times it did not continue the print and I had to emergency stop to start over. This is starting to happen on everything I print now. Some prints get completed some don't. This is very discouraging on large objects that take hours to have the print stop 3/4 into the print and then stop..
There's an option controlling what the printer should do when the per-layer time drops below a certain level. Most likely, you have it set to pause for a minimum duration. You probably want to set it to continue printing, but at a slower rate.rwilly wrote:it does this on small fast parts
Even better, print a bunch of "small fast parts" together, so the top layer on each one has time to cool before the nozzle returns for the next layer. Having the nozzle leave the part may make the layer-change zits more noticeable, but that's pretty much the tradeoff.
