Connected but not? M3-ID

Good morning,
I have an M3-ID that's been working beautifully for a month or so. But this last week, it stopped working. I've been connected through USB (on a PC) successfully and using Simplify 3d (as I use my M2).
When I hit "connect," it works. I get the tones and the communication screen seems to hit all the right keys. But, I can't connect. I can't warm up the plate or the nozzle, and I can't control the fan. It just says "Sent:105" over and over. I've rebooted, and just about tried everything.
Any thoughts?
