M3ID: Printer freezing mid print

Post by beehoppop » Wed Mar 21, 2018 2:36 am

Hi -

I am having a problem were my M3ID is freezing during a print. I have seen this happen a few times where it freezes for a minute and then continues printing but I have now hit a case were it has been frozen for about 10 minutes. Below is a snipped of the terminal window that I think offers a clue to the problem, it looks like OctoPrint received a "echo:busy: processing*ok" but never started printing again. I am running "OctoPrint 1.3.6 running on OctoPi 0.13.0". (I just updated to 1.3.6 but I was seeing the freeze earlier as well). I am also running a webcam.

Any suggestions on how I should fix this?

Thanks!
Brent

It appears this was being caused by the LED lights I had plugged into the RasPi's USB port. After removing them I am not seeing the problem. They were probably drawing too much power when combined with the camera.
