MG support sent me a bearing cartridge to replace the Y cartridge that seems to be making an odd noise. However, I don't want to pull the old one off and have all the bearings go a bouncing, just in case there is actually nothing wrong with it.
Before I attempt to measure and model a copy of the plastic rail that come in the new cartridge, does anyone already have a model they can share?
Thanks in advance!
Doug
STL of Linear Rail??
Re: STL of Linear Rail??
Thanks, that's a useful model to have.
I was going to say that I have a short piece of plastic rail that came with the extra carriage I got, which you can have if you need it.

Re: STL of Linear Rail??
Thanks Tim, but I think this will be fine. Got the dampers on the motors and wow it is quiet but still going to replace the bearing on the X axis this weekend as it is much rougher than this new one I slid on the rail when I had the motor and belt off..
