Has anyone ever moved their M2 abroad? (electrical)

Hi! I've recently moved across the pond from the States to the UK. Since we bought a shipping container, the M2 came along.
Now um, all I need to do is figure out what modification to do to use it with the UK electrical system. I really don't want to just use a transformer. They're expensive and it seems like a clunky solution.
I am NOT savvy with electrical stuff so any help is MUCH appreciated, ty! (secretly hoping it's a relatively easy modification).
