Yes I did, maybe its a bad angle but the notches aren't really deep. It looks to be around 20%. Anyway I ordered the abs from makergear plus a new drive gear. We'll see how it goes.

Is the filament guide tube installed?
None of your pictures show it and, without the tube, the filament
will kink as it feeds.

Update:
With a new drive gear and Makergear ABS filament I am no longer seeing this issue. However now it seems my z axis is dead
