Re: Prints pulling up at corners
Hmm, that's weird. It looks like the bottom of the prints are much closer now. It feels way smoother. The bed seems very level now and I even used the .005 feeler and it has pretty good resistance when I move it. Guess I'll look again.
Really appreciate the help

Re: Prints pulling up at corners
forget the 005". that is just a starting point. i can tell you with 100% certainty that those prints you posted last are way too far from the bed and you dont have enough contact for it to bond. if you want 100% holding power then you need 100% contact on the first layer. now if your going to add tape to the surface for the next print then you may want to leave the z-stop where its at because to tape will close the gap some. not sure how much since i dont use tape at all. print that same print again and while the printer is printing the skirt, turn the z axis knob 1 click clockwise. this will raise the bed up about .15mm give or take. let the first 10 layers or so complete, kill the print and post a pic of the bottom.
Re: Prints pulling up at corners
if u test the distance with cold nozzle sometimes the pla sticking out the nozzle is the one making that make resistance pocking out even just a very tiny bit

Re: Prints pulling up at corners
What did you mean by one click? I turned the bolt one time as far as the wrench could go, there is limited space to turn the wrench. Not sure how I could of done that while skirt was printing? The bolt is already making contact with z detector thing, so how am I supposed to adjust while its printing? So I adjusted before print. I guess the bed just isn't level, bc it really can't go any further without touching the glass. Going to pull it back just a little.
Re: Prints pulling up at corners
Not the z-bolt. The knob on the top of the printer.
In the pic, you are now too close to the bed.

Re: Prints pulling up at corners
Man I finally got it printing half way decent, and thnen I screw it up, should have left it alone. Now nothing is sticking, urghhh. The gap is around .0015 mm between gap and nozzle. Am I still too close?
but why aren't things sticking now? Temp is same, but it seems as if it's acting differently? Printed a part right before this and it worked perfectly.

Re: Prints pulling up at corners
Reset it three more times. .005 has good resistance and now nothing is sticking at all on blue tape. F*ck!
Maybe I'm too retarded to use a 3d printer

Re: Prints pulling up at corners
Don't worry about hitting a certain number, that number (.006) is just a starting point it's all just about trial and error.
That last picture your bed is too far away from the nozzle.
DO THIS..........
Start with a fresh piece of blue tape. (use quality 3M tape)
Start a print and let it print the first layer...
If it's not sticking (like in that picture), Stop the print.
Loosen the Lock Nut on the Z-Stop BOLT,
Tighten the Z-Stop Bolt (clockwise) about an 1/8 of a turn (or less)
Then tighten the Lock Nut,
and then restart the print.
If it's still not sticking well enough do all that again until it does stick and you get the perfect first layer.
Do not get frustrated it's all just a learning curve. Once you get it figured out it's pretty straight forward from there.
