I can't speak for the latest power brick, but the older one I have says the input can be 100V to 240V. That's typical of modern power bricks; you shouldn't need to buy a transformer. Can anyone who has the 24V model confirm that the power brick is good for inputs in the same range?

I received a kit only a week ago, and can confirm that the new power brick supports both voltages. In fact, there are no less than about 3 separate warnings in the forms of stickers, and sheets of paper, ensuring *nobody* forgets to set it to the correct voltage before using it!.
