S3D Profiles

Post by jdacal » Mon Jul 07, 2014 2:39 am

Still waiting on my M2 but I have a quick question about saved profiles in S3D.

I notice that when a saved profile is loaded the "Auto-Configure for Material" and "Auto-Configure for Print Quality" sections are no longer available. I'm assuming that if I want to have a Fast, Medium, or High print quality version I would need to save 3 separate configuration files? Just want to make sure in case I'm assuming wrong.

Thanks

That is indeed the case.

However! It turns out, if you open up the saved FFF file in a text editor, you can manually add back in autoConfigureMaterial and autoConfigureQuality sections, and then you can actually have those buttons work with your custom profile. I have attached the current profile I am using as an example.
