Weird slicing issue

Can anyone tell me why S2d wants to slice this http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:37774 model with a gap in what appears to be a solid wall where the hex bolt should go. I am attaching the gcode here.

KISSlicer does a decent job of slicing it but for some reason hates the PET profile I set up there, despite using the same values as S3D uses.

Any help would be appreciated.

are you talking about the outer wall of the round part where the main mounting bolts go? if so it is because the wall thickness in that area is thinner than you extrusion width setting. s3d knows your nozzle width and what can be printed and what cant. kisslicer may slice it ok but it wont be within tolerances of the model.

Ahh - thanks for that, makes perfect sense. I don't believe the missing wall will make any difference to the actual functionality of the part.

no it doesnt. that is a modified version of the real old filament drive. all the prints i have ever seen of this model doesnt have those wall connected. i ran one like this for quite awhile

Obviously I am printing this in prep of my new M2 however the fact you called it a very old version of the drive makes me wonder if this is even compatible anymore.

I am more and more beginning to think that I will have to switch to 1.75. Gotta see if I should offload some filament :)

if you can get rid of 3mm i would. just get on board with the 1.75 like the rest of us. with that said if you want to burn it up there is nothing wrong with that filament drive. its really the same as the newer version just the outer shape is a little different. i used it for 3-4mos and had no issues at all.
