... I may also have different ideas for what's an acceptable way to treat the machine and the expectations for it.

If you haven't tried this yet, turn on Perform retraction during wipe movement under Advanced and print out a cylindrical object. Gives a fantastic seam. It's not completely invisible, but to my eye it is much improved.

Upped to 250 and y axis skipped guess I'm stuck at 200 it runs beautifully at 200 and 60mms print speed petg 100 percent infill width.

I just covered my rails in motor oil, and now I print at 140mm/sec for PLA, with 250mm/sec travel moves. The M2 is beefy, use it ;)

i run 1200 accel on the dual, and 1800 on the singles though
140? Cripes I thought I was being risky when I upped my speed to 90mm/s print speed.

Whats the ringing/detail like at that speed?

It doesn't ring too badly, not sure why mine's a magic snowflake. The people I'm printing for don't care though.

The v4 seems to cut down on it some, the all aluminum construction flexes less than the ABS & PEEK holding in the brass barrels. I also run a low acceleration.

Hey all can someone help me or explain this: Under the Advanced Tab there is the tool change retraction. It does not seam to work correctly. I cannot input a negative tool retraction only positive, but retract is a negative number not positive. the restart distance can be positive or negative all though i do not understand retracting when you are trying to extrude what you retracted. Am i looking at they wrong or is there a mistake in values in this section?

Tool change retract can only mean sucking the filament back into the nozzle a little so from your perspective it's an inherently negative value, but then a positive value would make no sense so the parameter is specified unsigned.
