Octoprint now has an official android app in beta sponsored by BQ. You can check it out HERE. It looks very promising however I was not able to use it on my note 5 as it cuts the bottom of the ui off and it is not scrollable and locked to landscape only. I will give it a go on my tab later and see how that goes.
