What 3d Modeling Software are we using?

Have questions or comments about Simplify3D, Slic3r, Cura, Reptier, etc? Or wondering about which CAD software to use...discuss it here...

I've tried fusion 360, wow it's really intuitive and seams like a plus version of tinkercad. Is there a way to get solid works for free/discounted?

just going by your name here......if you are military or a military vet you can get solidworks for free. all you pay is $20 for the shipping. its yearly and the educational license but still fully functional.

Last year, the SolidWorks User Group I belong to brought in the Director of their Education Community. She offered a copy for $100 to any 'entrepreneur'. I have not tried to get one, since I already have access to an older copy that works well enough, but I believe the SolidWorks web site has the details.
