Hi!

Just wanted to check with you guys what is needed to tweak in the code to upgrade Marlin to a later release.
My release is quite old, from the first release of v4 I believe, and some features, like changing filament option was not fully working at that point.

I have a record of the small changes I've made in my Marlin version, but not quite sure what all the changes are done from Makergear.

I might even be testing RC8 if I only knew what things to change

Did you manage to make progress with this subject? (I am also mucking around with RC8, with some difficulty so far).
