im in the same boat as pat. i have the boltgen plug in installed on my 8.1 now 10 machine but i dont remember what i did to do it. i really dont recall doing anything special or having trouble.

on another note, for those of you that have a valid rhino lic, commercial or educational, mcneel has a special promo deal on rhino for mac. its just out of beta and in this prerelease status for a month or two. $95 for a full commercial lic. reg price has not been set yet but i have been told it will be around 500 bucks or so.

not to get off topic here but win 10 is nice. i liked 8.1 but 10 is better. osx has always been way better than windows but they have made some good improvements to it over the past few years. still bloated as hell but not the windows of 5 years ago thats for sure.

I liked win 7 the best. Win 10 beta the first one I ran was awesome . Felt like a souped up version of win 7. The rc of 10 will likely be too metro for me.

Here's the steps that worked to get it installed:
Close Rhino.
Go to downloads folder.
Unzip BoltGen
right click, select properties
where it says this file might be blocked to protect computer because it came from another, click unblock
now open second explorer window; win+e
then navigate to the rhino plug-ins folder
drag the file from downloads to the plugins
select move/replace
start rhino,
select file--> properties
then go to plug-ins
click install
find Boltgen.rhp
click ok..

find Boltgen.rhp

Yeah, that's what I tried the first time, but when it came time to "find Boltgen.rhp" it wasn't in the list.

After placing the BoltGen.rhp in the Plug-ins directory, I went to" Rhino/Tools/Options/Plug-ins" as specified in the documentation I was reading. It then said to select the plug in and click on Install. The BoltGen plug-in was not in the list to select. I guess the documentation is just wrong.

I will retrace my steps tonight and update this post. My install was slightly different than the posted instructions.
