I recenty bought a makergear M2 but have problems printing. Below are the details of what I have done, and the issues I need help to resolve.
Assembling:
1. We assembled the Printer by ourselves and tested the following as described on the makergear website. (Connects with Pronterface)
a. All motors function appropriately for both positive and negative axes.
b. Heating works for both bed and the hot end
Calibiration:
c. Bed is aligned as described in the video
d. Z end stop is accurately aligned but red LED does not light upon hearing the click sound - and the lights also goes off.
Issues:
1. After uploading the G-code of our 3D model into Pronterface, we face the problem issuing the print command.
The Exruder moves to the extreme end of the -x axes and stops. Usually the halt occurs on line 9 of printing. And then the printer shuts down. The power returns when the extruder is manually moved to the center of the bed.
I am lost for answers, is there anything I am not doing?
Makergear M2 printer won't run
Re: Makergear M2 printer won't run
I am betting that you have wired your endstops incorrectly. Double check the diagram and endstop notes here:
