It seems like it could not possibly maintain any flatness.

i have used flex to pop off plates before and your right. you cant possibly keep them flat. i had a couple thicker spring steel plates and they would be so far out its not funny. impossible to print on really. maybe this is different. who knows.

I was talking on IRC with someone who had tested it themselves. it doesn't last forever and i couldn't get an exact life expectancy from them as .. frankly i don't think they were counting prints.. but thought they easily got 100+ prints on it... but supposedly it stays flat. This is one of those 'i have to see it for myself' things. .. if i can get 200 prints out of it, and it does what it says, then it will be money well spent. If not, it didn't break the bank. I've also have some petg coming.. so i might ruin it got with the first time i use petg on it :) i'll post my results. good and/or bad.

Good. I ordered one as well. (If it only lasts for a hundred prints though, that ain't gonna cut it.) I might try Kapton on one side if it will stick.

I'm truly desperate to find a flexible solution to print removal - I managed to put a very dull palette knife rather deeply into my hand while prying off a round print a couple of weeks ago.
Not. Pleasant. :?

Uh, I now wear leather gloves for all parts removal and for some support removal as well. You probably don't have to ask why.

Didn't think about gloves. Good idea.
