Wiring harness identification

Post by HadMatter » Tue May 20, 2014 1:49 pm

Greetings,

Ok silly question but i'm stumped. The male and female, 2-wire connectors you guys use for the fan wiring etc.
What are those called exactly? Also, can I re-terminate them to the wires is there is a break? If so, How?
and where could I order a bulk quantity if these?

Thanks,

Hatter.

You can get them from MakerGear.

If the break happened not too close to the old one, you can just solder the wires together. One of the fans I bought came with some pigtail crimp connectors that you might use, they look like this, but I think I prefer soldering in the future.
