"Printer-food" :lol:

Hey over$pent, I see you have some fan relocation as well as the bearing mod. Did your stepper need that fan? What are you using for a bed/print fan, if any?
I'm finally back to where I started two days ago!

Hey willnewton,
I mostly use Esun PetG, Maker Filament PetG (made in USA with good pricing), Taulman 645 and 910, Esun ePC, and both ninja flex and semi flex. I have found no need for running the fan with these materials. When I had the V3B, I had the fan mounted to the side blowing over the extruder stepper. The stepper runs warm, but not too hot, so I figured it couldn't hurt. It makes a nice compact package as well on the V4 with it mounted on the end. My customers typically like structural materials that can take outdoor exposure, so PLA never really worked out for me.

I had issues with the ninja flex moving around on the drive gear and giving inconsistent extrusion, so I came up with the larger wheel (more contact area) with the circular cut to match the filament.
What are the chances of your sharing the file and parts list for this upgrade. I love printing with TPU (Gizmodorks brand filament), but it consistently gets wrapped around the gear just before the party finishes.

Thanks!
