New Extruder Drive Gear
Re: New Extruder Drive Gear
I've converted all my M2s to rigid bed mounts thanks to MIC6 sheets + autolevel, so I have a TON of bed springs laying around. I'm going to try using those for tension.

The arm's not metal, but should still work as desired.

I realize that this question is old (been moving), but Torx drivers are excellent for removing stripped Allen fasteners. Choose a size that's a hair too big, pound it in and turn, comes right out. The allen wrench is tiny; first, the wrench wanted to bend, and when I applied torque closer in, all I managed to do was to strip the set screw. So now what's the best approach? Drill it out?
Re: New Extruder Drive Gear
Has anyone heard if the fine tooth drive gear was implemented? I am still using mine and still working fine.
Anyone else still using this?

Re: New Extruder Drive Gear
I pulled mine, but I'm keeping it as it might be a better option if I ever try running a flexible filament.

@slipshine - the finer tooth gear is what we've been using in production for several months now.

So ... if I'd want one (hey, it's additional gear, right?) I'll just drop a mail to support@ or order@ ?
