Vietnam Monument
Re: Vietnam Monument
Yes, very nice. Where will it be located?
Also, the word taper is misspelled (has an extra P in it)

Re: Vietnam Monument
thx for the spell check i hate to do that it will be located in Kentucky (Luisville)
the base to save material was made with a trick... it was printed "full" as long as there was slope to build
but the least few centimeter needed for the higher parts were only made as exterior 3 layer walls empty inside and the glued back
in fact if you see in the picture u can notice an horizontal line on the 2 taller pieces just below the lowest slope
to make the base I used exactly 1 roll of 1kg (I used the cheapest wood pla i could find in amazon that in that moment was https://www.amazon.com/STAR-Alchement-F ... s=wood+pla )
this pla work best when printed at .5 with .35 it clogs very often
each of the 3 base element was 20x16 the total of the model is 60x16
i am working now on a different competiton and the base is 21x18 each 4 pieces this is going to be the biggest i have done so far

Re: Vietnam Monument
Very nice work - and since you don't like to make spelling errors, that city in Kentucky is Louisville.
