Lost wrench, what size?

Post by Earsmith » Sat Nov 12, 2016 3:54 pm

I lost the small Allen wrench that fits the grub screws for the X/ Y axis. I tried a 5/64 but it didn't fit. Before multiple trips to the hardware store could someone tell me what wrench is the correct size.

Thanks in Advance.

If you mean these, they are 2mm (0.0787" or 5/64" should have fit):

Those are the only grub/set screws I see on my Rev. E. Everything else is M-series socket head cap screw.

But if you mean these, then as far as I can tell, they're not grub screws...just pins.

I have two full sets of Wiha precision drivers and nothing fit from 0.050", 0.071mm, 0.089mm/0.9mm (all too small) and 1.3mm is just barely too big.
