Detect Version of M2

Post by jason3w » Fri Sep 08, 2017 3:01 am

Hi there,
Just got an M2 secondhand. Need to determine the V# for the link with simplify3d.
Any markings that will help with this?
Thanks in advance.

If your z Stop switch is at the top of the Printer it's a Rev. D (or older) if the switch is at the bottom it's probably a Rev E. (or converted).

I think the only thing that matters in S3D is whether you have the V3B or V4 hotend.
