I am pleased to see as Mosaic is spreading the word about their Pallete 2, they are accompanied by a MakerGear. :)

Yeah apparently they are working with at least 6 manufactures directly (MG included) so this should be exciting... I pulled the trigger on a Pro today.

Just watched the printing nerd video and I'm wondering about the mid to long-term problems associated with different materials going through the same hotend/nozzle. Doubts I have:

Printing temps for common materials we use can vary >20%.

Using a soluble (especially PVA with which I had little luck) and other plastics through the same hotend makes me wonder also.

Seems they recommend using filaments with print temps around 10 degrees of each other.

One thing I noticed in the cameos was the mounting plate on the printer. This doesnt seem like something you could use on an M3-ID as the stepper motor for the second motor would be in the way. It would need to stick out a bit in order to be able to be mounted.

Thanks. I was thinking they were mixing flexible/higher temp filaments with PLA/ABS in the same prints.
