Thank you jferguson

@kskiff & monkeyscript:

The Ultra One is intended for industrial use and is a beast (weighs over 100 lbs). You really need to see it to appreciate the work that goes into it.

We'll be looking for ways to get the cost/weight down for a more general purpose machine but that is going to take some time.
Yeah I saw that it was INTENDED for industrial use, but I'm okay with that. I STILL want one.

Thank you!

I just came here hoping to see a larger format printer, and here it is!

I am printing stuff on my M3-SE in multiple piece, with tabs to connect them, and would like additional space to print it in one piece.

This looks great... but looks like it will be way out of my price range, and has a lot fo capabilities I can't afford to pay for.

Bring on the M4.... please?

man its been a long time since i have been on the forum and posted but this deserves it! very nice rick. i am happy to see something fresh from makergear with a different core design from the m2. i would honestly order one of these today if my m2's didnt do such a good job. 5 years later and they are still rockin and not out dated.

Didn't see pricing posted anywhere in this thread, but got an email about this yesterday. Pricing is going to be $9,999 with a preorder discount price of $8249. Preorder open between Sept 10-15.

Back in the office today after spending the week at IMTS. Great show! One of the great things about shows is the opportunity to meet customers - some who've been with us for many years and others who'd just purchased their first machine.

Thank you Jim. Great to see you on the forum.

As you can tell the Ultra One is intended ($10k retail) for industrial applications. Engineering, manufacturing, assembling, stocking and selling U1 is big undertaking for us. We are actively evaluating ways to produce a machine with a larger print volume than the M3 but with a lower price point than U1.

Rick
