Flexible Magnetic Build Surface for the M2/M3

Post by psd » Wed Jun 19, 2019 2:11 pm

Hello all,
i was a proud owner of an M2 for 2+ years, now I am also founder of Wham Bam Systems, www.whambamsystems.com
we make the original and the best in class of flexible magnetic build surface kits.

We have decided to make an 8" x 10" kit for the M2 / M3
Our process is simple, first we plan, then make a dozen kits and send to beta test, once approved or modified if needed we go to production.

We have already bet tested our kits and refined 7 month ago and have successfully sold many hundred kits, now we are just trying to verify fit and potential issues with new machines.

We are now ready to beta test.
If you are interested in being a beta tester, please send me a note at info@whambamsystems.com
let me know your machines that you own
your years of experience
if you have ever beta tested
if you actively participate in forums
if you run any pages, social platforms or youtube channels,

Thanks!

I do hope this does not conflict with any ethics of the community, we are not trying to advertise just to raise awareness and find beta testers.

Peter

This beta test will cost you money as well as time as they are only giving those they feel are qualified to test a %50 discount. Or maybe that is all I got since I have no Youtube channels to promote them.
I am kind of old fashioned, my spare time labor rate is worth about $50 an hour.. how about yours? :D

Beta testing has nothing to do with promoting anything.... this is a marketing ploy masquerading as a "Beta Test" plain and simple.... this line is a dead giveaway.
if you run any pages, social platforms or youtube channels

sorry its not marketing, but for influencers we give additional support as their voices carry weight.
We seriously are testing the kits on the Makergear and need the community help as I don't have the M2 anymore.
thanks!

If you are "SELLING" kits to be beta tested... this post is nothing but an advertisement/marketing campaign.

I don't know you. I've read many good posts you've made here over the years as an M2 owner. However, I must agree that if you didn't have that history this would seem iffy at best.

thanks, I was very active with Makergear over the years I have owned it, it was always my quest to find great adhesion and removal.
Now I have other brand machines and have opened wham bam.
we charge a very discounted price to beta testers, its a win win for both parties.
we dont give away freebies, helps to weed out those not seriously interested and it covers costs.
our beta testers love us, you can try to read up on social.
we treat everyone fairly, and are not trying to advertise here.
sorry for any misinterpretation of our mission and values here.

Np.
This is easily the best board I read/post on across many topics. I remember the old google groups for 3D printing (I started reading ednisley and His blog because of the thingomatic group) and those groups became toxic. I like how supportive and informative this "place" is.

Lighten up folks. This forum is about dead as doornail compared to a few years ago. At least someone is posting something here and it is 100% on topic. :D

Peter, I’ll give it a go. Sending you a PM.
I'm finally back to where I started two days ago!

A thread with some stuff in it I update every once in a while. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=9

thanks Will and Mathis, that's a bit more encouraging after the sour start.
