Parts for hot end

Post by Capt. John » Mon Aug 18, 2014 4:24 am

Heater died in one of my hot ends, searched the MG website, seen no place to buy
parts to rebuild hot ends.

Need two .35 nozzles, one heater and 2 of the insulating jackets to cover the alum. block.

john, i see all that on there except for the cartridge. just send an email to karen. she will get everything you need. do yourself a favor, if your replacing nozzles keep one or two of the brass tubes on hand as well. sometimes from so many heat and cool cycles things can lock up tight and not come apart. just change the nozzle with a new tube.

Anyone used the .40 nozzle?
Does the quality of the print suffer?

Thanks, I'll get with MG

john my e3d has a .4 nozzle. i could not tell a difference between that and the stock .35 that my m2 came with. .4 is the stock size on many printers. quite a bit more common than .35 actually.
