That doesn't look like the compiler issue (skipped steps on super fast travel moves). My guess is an electrical issue, maybe? Noise interfering with communication? If the LCD installation doesn't require any pin changes for the other hardware (i.e., you didn't have to move around any other wires for the fans, etc.) try running with the old firmware that was working to see if it is still working.

I will poke around a bit more tonight. That "X" it drew was perfect though. I mean, it's not part of the print of course, but geometrically it's perfect. I doubt that is caused by noise.

That "x" reminds me of something we saw in any cutter file that had a path that fell outside of the allowable cutting area. If there is an incorrect setting for the size of the bed plate, or if something extends over the edge of the allowable area, maybe something similar is going on here. (Isn't all plotter software based on a similar base program? Sure hope so, or i'll look like an idiot. :? )

Anyway, maybe the reversion will fix it.

Screw this. Anyone want a Geetech LCD? This thing isn't worth the hassle for me...

Having amazing problems with mine, just wish I could find a stock firmware.

I have a firmware which will work for you I can upload tonight when I get home I was running same lcd with a V4 no issues.

Forgot to mention this is set up for Z inductive probe and auto level. This might still help confirm some things for you though.
