The regions where the walls cross in an X pattern, they look thin. Are you sure they are thick enough in every layer to fit your filament thickness? Try slicing at a ludicrously thin layer height with an unprintable filament thickness, like .1mm each, to see if that works. Then try using a differen...

Yeah basically is just starting to fill areas in the air , instead of following the geometry of the object.

i checked the model in netfabb and there was no problem with it, the model is a solid mesh , so why it isnt treating it like if it was a vase, in the 3d model the walls were .125" thick (3.1 mm) aprox

Trouble with slicing an object
Hi im designing a lamp fixture and made the 3d model , wanted to print a scale model , but when i preview the slicing it appears its creating gaps in the slicing . What could be the problem .

I"ve been looking for one, I rep for a manufacturer and have been looking for a nice print to put peoples name on it so they can put it on their desk, instead of the usual name plaque. Yeah ive been living in Savannah for 2 years amd a half, been doing my masters in furniture design at SCAD . Its a very mellow citycompared from back home inSan Juan ,PR. Thank you ill check them out.
