Extruder motor stops responding/moving
I've got a 2015 M2 that was upgraded to dual V4 hot ends a few years ago. Today, I fired it up and at first none of the motors would respond at all -- I tracked that down to a slightly loose power cable, and fixed that issue. Now, though, when I try to print, the extruder motor stops responding afte...

Re: Extruder now moving left too far - making grinding sound
Thank you for helping me figure out what on Earth was going on! I finally broke down & took the plunge to upgrade from my trusty V3b, and thought everything was going well until I tried to print and the initial homing resulted in KXKXKXKXKCHXKXKXKCHXKXKCHCHCXXKCHCHK! (Breaking out Ye Olde Superglue ...

Volcanoes
My daughter had to make "3D models" for her science class. Naturally, she decided to go the 3D printing route. :D We designed the volcanoes in Fusion 360, printed them -- and then she used a Creopop to fill in the lava. (Yes, the Creopop plastic did stick to PLA.) The Composite Volcano is my favorit...

Linoleum cutter holder
One of my larger prints. PLA, peeled up a smidge on the corners but otherwise came out pretty good.
Put used wine corks through it so the cutting blades stay sharp

Re: Volunteer Editors needed
I'm happy to take a look / do some editing -- though it sounds like I should wait until the next version.

That's very cool!
However, don't forget the forum is world readable -- I actually use Google to search it sometimes instead of the 'search' on the top right. So even if people don't actively tell others about it, it's out there...

Re: Day 1 M2 Mishap - Help recovering
For the Kapton, put it on with dish soap and warm water -- you can slide it around, and squeegee out the water & bubbles. Works like a champ. :) I caution against going bare glass -- I did that for the first few months, and then a PETg piece adhered so well it took some of the glass with it when it ...

Extruder motor shaft broke
How does this even happen? (That's an honest/serious question.) I had a print of about 3 hours stop half-way through. Figured it was a clog or filament jam of some sort. Took the filament out, checked the gear for blockages -- PETg often seems to get a stripped & bent wad right at the gear for me --...
