Nevermind, there were two threads and one of them had the hex socket. Hard to tell with poor lighting, it was all the way in there.

I just got my dampers and have a few questions. I need to adjust the belt pulleys 4mm or so but don't see a way to loosen it off the stepper shaft. I see threaded holes on the pulley base but nothing inside of them. So how do i go about loosening/adjusting them?

I got my M2 V4 this week and have the same issue. The motors aren't stuck, it's more like the Z axis is "sticky".
