Re: PETG bonds to PEI like superglue!

I have been printing nearly nonstop PPE face shields for the past 2 weeks, in PETG, on PEI. I have no problems with these sticking. A little angle spatula works to life slightly on one end/edge and then slide the spatula underneath the remaining. I am printing at 245/80 and I can take the print off ...

Re: M3/M2 Enclosure

Ditto! Would love to get one for one of my printers (M2 and M3-ID) for printing ABS as I no longer have these in the garage where I can get lots of ventilation

Changed nozzle on T0, when recalibrating, T1 digs into print bed

I swapped out my T0 nozzle for a .75 and went through the process to re-calibrate. First step through T0, fine tuned and saved the bed starting position just fine. Then it moves on to T1 and when it tries to print the zigzag pattern, the nozzle, which has not been changed, nor had the hotend messed ...

Re: M3-ID trying to print on wrong toolhead

"stock" PETG profile? " stock M3-ID Rev1 PETG profile" - where did you get this from? My new M3-ID with all the downloaded profiles for S3D doesn't have any PETG profile. I know temps are similar to ABS but not the same. So wondering if you modified a stock profile for your PETG material? As to why ...

Re: M2 lost motor control

That is exactly what happened. The connector was *just* loose enough, without being visibly loose.

M2 lost motor control

I have an M2 with a v4 hotend, and it has been working fine. I tried a new print with some PETg filament, which didn't adhere well so I cancelled the print and set about leveling the bed. I use Simplify 3D and used their bed leveling wizard. It was working fine, moving to set positions at the corner...

Re: Printed samples, nothing else prints successfully

Thank you, gives me someplace to start troubleshooting.

Sorry I will try to get better about providing some of the specifics asked. Total newbie mode still :)

Printed samples, nothing else prints successfully

Situation: I just received my new M2 last Thursday and carefully (I hope!) followed all setup instructions, including calibration of the nozzle gap with the gauge supplied. I loaded up the quickstart app, and successfully printed the bracelet. Everything looked good. I then printed the Cyclone. Most...

Re: Nozzle sizes

Thanks, I found those nozzles on the MakerGear site last night too, they are in my shopping cart :)
I do use S3D, though still very much a novice with it

Nozzle sizes

I am just getting started in 3D printing, having received my MakerGear M2 last Thursday. I have read quite a lot in different places about clogged nozzles, and while shopping Amazon for some misc. items saw quite a few multi-pack nozzles for a pretty reasonable cost. Most are .4mm nozzles, and when ...
