There are two mounts for the z max endstop. For printers with the black z motor, it mounts on top of the z motor. For silver there is a bracket that mounts to the rear guide. Your connection log from when you initially connect should tell you what version of the firmware you are running.

You can find your present firmware version in the connection log.
If you're unsure of which version is correct, please use the firmware selector tool at firmware.makergear.com

One of the causes of layer separation can be too little heat.
Try printing at 265 and 110. See if that helps.

Morgan, I would suggest the following: Connect to your printer. Both thermistors should read at least room temperature. If one of them reads 0, then that thermistor is bad. If they are reading room temp, heat the hotend up to print temp. Wiggle the thermistor around. If the temp jumps around then th...
