3D Printed: Nema 17 5:1 Top Clamp

Post by lightmind » Thu Feb 04, 2016 11:38 pm

Hello,

The clamp for the filament feed motor has broken after the extruder assembly got caught on the bed clamps. The mount is loose and cannot be tightened.

According to the drawings it is listed as "3D Printed: Nema 17 5:1 Top Clamp".

Since it is a printed part, anyone know where I can get the STL file?

See if you can repair your existing one enough with epoxy or superglue or zip ties long enough to get another one printed. You will want to use a high temp filament, like ABS or PETG.

I have the metal motor mount and in addition to being more sturdy, it just looks great haha
