Got a question guys......

Is anybody else using Simplify3D with the new Rev.E Dual setup and firmware?

I'm catching a slight over-extrusion problem on the first layer of the shield....In other words, it's spitting up a glob right as it starts the shield print. It can make a bit of a mess if you are printing in PETG, unless you stand by to flatten it. And changing the other settings doesn't seem to apply to the shield print....(like trying to do a negative Extra Restart Distance. That works for the primary print, but doesn't seem to be affecting the shield.)

Anybody else see it? And if so, where the heck do you turn it off?

That one small glitch aside - if you've got a dual, you're gonna love the Rev.E setup. No more setting relative nozzle heights! That in itself is a huge time saver, and I'm getting really great results after figuring out some of the changed effects here. :)

(They really outdid themselves with this one.) :D

Nobody else?
This is what it looks like.....(and that's a calibration square size print, so the effect is not really that terrible....it's going to be a bit annoying, and we'll have to set the shield out far enough that the print dodges it.)
